The 12-minute break is designed as a single continuous block that fits behind a "BRB" screen. Rather than fragmenting the break into multiple micro-interruptions throughout the hour, Stream Safe consolidates all recovery activity into one period. This approach reduces the number of stream interruptions per session while providing equivalent total recovery time. Over a 6-hour stream, Stream Safe produces 6 breaks totaling 72 minutes of recovery, compared to 12 breaks totaling 60 minutes in a 30-minute cycle profile.
Fewer, longer breaks are also more physiologically effective for marathon sessions. If you stream shorter sessions and can take more frequent breaks, the Match Break profile (45-minute cycle) may provide better protection. For casual gaming without streaming pressure, any of Crane's standard profiles will work well.
